FOOD LION SUPPORTS GOLDEN CORNER FOOD PANTRY
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the wonderful folks at the Seneca Food Lion on Old Clemson Highway. They support us daily with food donations and recently provided a $5000 grant from the Food Lion Charitable Foundation to help with our efforts. Food Lion’s support is critical to us being able to accomplish our mission of providing monthly emergency and supplemental food to disadvataged and low income residents of Oconee County.
Local Produce Store Helps Food Pantry
Cindy tells how she knows the value of food pantries, having used a Food Pantry herself. Now she is part of a new business and is helping others by donating food to the Golden Corner Food Pantry. She runs a produce store featuring fresh, locally grown produce with Tonya and Gary. It is located in Seneca at 905 Shiloh Road (part of Jake Marcengill’s Seneca Tire). When the store has leftover produce Cindy donates it to the Food Pantry. We are extremely grateful for their generosity and hope anyone reading this will give them a try.
